All the trivial things

There was a time where I used to sit on the floor
never wearing shoes and my toes
pointing north

How can I come back to that wild part of me?
I was five and no fear of failing and scream

All the birds in the sky
they don’t know where they’re going to fly

And all the fish in the sea
shall I know how they swim?

And all the flowers in these fields
not pretending how to be

All those trivial things
tell me how to live
